All items delivered within India & Singapore are delivered with a handover price (i.e. all taxes paid). If you are accessing our store from one of these two countries, we request you to switch the store to your local currency which will reflect all-inclusive prices for your respective locations.

 

For deliveries to all other countries (as viewed in USD), the recipient of the order is responsible for import duties and any sales taxes if applicable.

As we strive to deliver the orders in the fastest possible timeframe, we process them in real-time which is often within 30 minutes of you placing an order. Absolutely not. Product Integrity is of utmost importance to us & we very well understand the implications of letting even a single counterfeit slip through.

We do not deny the fact that we do encounter fakes but the instances of a counterfeit slipping through our multi-pronged authenticity verification approach have been extremely rare.

Even so, we secure all our buyers with Lifetime Authenticity Guarantee. If at any point during the life of your product you suspect the product to be fake, bring it back to us and we will return your purchase in full.

Yes, we take detailed high-resolution portfolio images for each item sold by us & our partners. Our images stitched together will make a complete 3-D representation allowing you to closely inspect products.

For Products consigned by private sellers, we mandate standard guidelines in order to give you the best possible representation, but most sellers are not professional photographers and may not be able to capture product details as deftly which is why we provide you with an option to post your queries on the product page for the seller to answer in more detail.

For Brand new & Barely used items we may use manufacturer’s images in certain instances.

No, we hold no affiliations with any designer labels available on our platform. These are pre-owned items and as such do not come with brand product support.

With some Labels not limited to Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana you can always take your piece (whether pre-owned or new) to their flagship stores and have them serviced for a fee.

We require all orders over Rs25,000/$300 to be signature delivered. If you are not available at home please have an authorized signatory ready to accept the order with their government issued Identification.

Yes, all our products are insured end to end against shipping damage & theft. If we have notified the delivery of your order but you have not received it or received it damaged, please get in touch with our support team as soon as possible.

Each item on our platform is categorized as Pristine, Excellent, Very good, good, fair

  • Pristine– These items have been excellently handled and usually have been used for a very short period. They show no sign of wear and included all accompanying accessories including dust bag, tags as Brand-new items would.
  • Excellent – Items are visibly unused but may not come with the original box, tags, accessories attached.
  • Very good– Items show minor signs of wear such as in case of handbags slightly worn corners, straps, slight color fading. In case of footwear minor wear on soles, insole, light scuffing inside.
  • Good– Items show moderate signs of wear such as in case of handbags moderately worn corners, straps, possible visible color fading. In case of footwear moderate sole/insole wear and edge scuffing.
  • Fair– These are well-used items that come with the widest spectrum. Your chances of finding a gem in this category is the highest as they are listed for a significant markdown but can often be repaired to look as good as pristine. Of course, this is also the riskiest category of all & is well suited for bargain hunters.

 

The words “moderate”, minor, fair can be subjective to an extent depending on an individual’s perception. Therefore, in addition to this guide, we advise our customers to visually inspect each item through their images before placing an order.

All India orders are shipped via FedEx, Singapore/Global orders are fulfilled via DHL Express.

We work on a hybrid model, depending on whether your item is being sold by us/our private sellers or boutique partners your order will be delivered in anywhere between 1-1.5 Week within India/ Singapore and 2-3 weeks for the rest of the world.

All orders above Rs 100,000/ $ 1500 will take an additional 2 days to process. We advise our customers to use the same billing address as the shipping address for high-value transactions to avoid any delay. A customer service representative may contact you before confirmation if your order requires additional verification.

Cossue Credit includes funds earned from sales as well as Site Credit from purchases that were processed as returns. This will automatically apply at checkout and will be deducted from your order total. Anything left over will remain on Cossue, as there’s no expiration date on your credit.

PayPal is a payment system that most sellers and buyers online prefer. It uses the latest in safety technology and allows buyers to pay sellers instantly.
Buyers love it because it is free for them to use and they can send money anywhere in the world. Sellers love it because there are no set-up costs, it makes international trading simple, and it is a quick, safe, and traceable way of receiving funds from anywhere in the world.
It is free to set up a PayPal account, and you pay a small fee each time you receive funds.

You can use a credit or debit card to pay as a guest of PayPal. This can be done 8 times before PayPal require you to set up a PayPal account.
On cossue you can also pay by bank transfer and be paid by bank transfer. Preference is set in their account and accounts will pay you in the manner requested.
New international sellers will be paid via Paypal for their first transaction for extra security.

SELL FAQs

Absolutely not, unlike our peers, we do not follow the common consignment practice of locking on to your item upfront without assuring a sale.

For that, to work we rely on our sellers to practice good faith with our seller terms. You can keep possession of your item till it’s sold and only then ship it to us for further authentication & verification stages.

In case we communicate a sale and you renege on it, it will unfortunately lead to termination of your seller privileges with immediate effect for the entirety of your association with our platform.

In case you have a change of heart about selling your pieces we expect you to inform us immediately and your item will be taken down within 3 Business days.

Unfortunately, all our consignment and buyout offers are strictly final. We follow a completely transparent and comprehensive point-based system to evaluate each submission and unless you have additional information you could submit on the product, we are humbly unable to entertain requests for reconsideration.

We understand you may want to monetize your item in the earliest possible timeframe.

Unfortunately, we are as picky as our buyers when it comes to buyouts due to inherent risks of obsoleteness and very select combinations of brands/styles/shades/condition & price points qualify for one.

In fact, less than 10% of our total submissions receive a buyout offer though we are trying hard to expand our buyout basket.

But worry not, in most cases consignments can offer you a better value for your piece and most consignments sell within 2 months of them going live.

What’s more with consignments you can retain your piece while we work hard to sell it for you, Sounds like a win-win!

A white glove pickup entails a personalized pickup by our trusted concierge partner who will come to your preferred pickup address at the time you specify to note and collect your items.

Our white-glove services are complimentary but you may be charged for repeated attempts in case you fail to honor the agreed upon pick-up window.

We then authenticate and evaluate it for veracity with initially submitted details and proceed with the payout if it’s a buyout or is shipped to the end buyer in case of consigned sales.

We use a dynamic pricing model that incorporates historic data from thousands of Labels specific transactions around the world both in the primary and the secondary market. In addition to our own proprietary process, we take feeds from leading international portals to match your product as close to the global market price trend as possible

In some cases, we may adjust the pricing nominally to the Indian market, but we are constantly striving to bring the Indian secondary market at par with the global price trends.

Our goal is to sell your product at the highest price the market could offer & we market your product globally. There are several factors that would help determine the price of your product.

  • Brand Resale value – Some brands retain their value better over time than others and are largely unaffected by shifting micro trends. In-fact brands such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, Hermes, Prada can often earn you more in time than their original cost initially.
  • Item condition – We accept items ranging from Fair to Pristine (please refer to our condition guide for details) but the closer your item is to pristine the higher price it will command.
  • Current market trends – Using real-time market research we stay up to date with the current market trends on styles, patterns, categories, brands among other factors. We price your item to find the best balance between a price acceptable to you what the market would offer.
  • Recency – Items from the latest catalog collections would naturally garner a higher price than old pieces. The notable exception of this would-be vintage items which can be priced significantly higher depending on the current market trend.
  • Your Product Listing – We can’t stress this enough, for this being the factor that would influence your product’s resale price the most. If you choose not to send us your piece and list it on your own, the Quality of your submission would be a major factor in dictating your price terms. We have a dedicated team of professional photographers and editors who capture a product in its entirety thereby maximizing your payout and reducing the chances of a sale rejection due to discrepancy in the listing later in the process.

Thereby we always advise our customers to send us their pieces directly and if that’s not possible to strictly follow our guidelines to increase your product visibility.

We accept select designer heels and select sports shoes from the brands/editions listed by us.

Any footwear submitted to us should at least be in the “very good” condition on our condition chart in order to be considered.

When you submit for seller privileges you agree to our seller terms.

As a seller, you attest to the authenticity of each item submitted to us, if an item is found otherwise during our evaluation it will be returned to you at a fee of INR 3500.

Please note, the authentication fee is applied to covers shipping/insurance to and from our location, and the authentication services rendered by us in addition to risk carried for a counterfeit.

If you fail to claim your item back with 21 days, your item will be duly destroyed as per the relevant GOI policies against counterfeits.

Buyout quotes are valid for 15 calendar days and consignment quotes are valid for 6 calendar days.

If your quote has expired you will need to resubmit your item via your account, please do not submit the same item more than once or without any additional information within a period of 45 days.

If your item was a

Buyout – once the item is received by our facility and successfully authenticated/ evaluated per the initial submission you will receive an acceptance email post which your payment receipt will be communicated within 3 business days.

Consignment – once your item is received by the end-user & the cool-off period has ended your payment receipt will be communicated within 3 business days.

MISCELLANEOUS FAQs

Make an offer field allows you to negotiate directly with the seller for a better price.

This functionality is only available on products submitted by individual sellers. Learn how to make use of it for a better bargain here.

As a seller, you get complete flexibility to track your submitted/listed products and tweak the offering to make them more competitive.

You can choose to toggle activate “receive an offer” on individual products via the ‘products tab’ in your account & engage in short negotiation with prospective buyers.

Due to high value of our merchandise, we secure each product with chip encoded tags & labels.

These tags help us identify each product uniquely and are a strict pre-condition for returns.

We advise you to not temper with any tags & string locks in any way if you expect to submit for a return.

Whether you’ll be charged for a return will depend on the category your return qualifies under as per our return policy.

In case you would still like to pay via COD, we require 30% of the invoice amount to be paid in advance via other modes online and the rest cant be paid at delivery. ( * Please note we require this to prevent false, dead-end orders which significantly heighten the cost of insurance & returns to us )

Due to inherent risks associated with High-value cash collection we charge an extra 2% as a risk mitigation fee which will be levied on the total invoice amount when you choose COD.

Please note, all our deliveries will strictly need to be signed by the buyer upon furnishing of a government-issued ID.
